Community Work

Give Something Back

Eventura are pleased to help and support various organisations in the local community, our support varies depending upon need and availability. Please visit our friends and if you can, provide support yourselves:

Bolton Lads And Girls Club

Bolton Lads & Girls Club is the biggest youth centre in the UK. A registered charity (#1051292), we are based right in the heart of Bolton town centre. The Club is open 7 days-a-week, 52 weeks-a-year and welcomes all young people aged 8-21 years old.

Bolton County AFC

Bolton County AFC exists to promote football for children, from the age of 6 right through to open age football. The club has been awarded the Football Association prestigious charter standard in April 2002.

Bury Amateurs FC

The first club to enter the newly formed Lancashire Amateur Football League did so in 1903. Taking the name of the professional/business club in the town, Bury Athenaeum rather surprisingly lasted just six years despite a reasonable number of achievements to their credit. A further effort to set up a football team from the Athenaeum Club became a victim of the outbreak of WW1 after just a single season of competition. Bury Dorics as it was called did not restart after the 1914-18 war.

Cancer Research UK

Eventura are proud to support the Cancer Research UK in its charitable activities.

CANTreat Cancer Charity

Positive environments produce positive attitudes! Turning a cancer sufferer’s feelings from the initial shock, fear and bewilderment into determination, survival and understanding is a complicated process. Family and friends play a large part. The support and care of medical staff plays another.

NSPCC

Eventura are proud to support the NSPCC in its charitable activities. Our Managing Director and founder is a member of the Bolton & Bury Business Board for the NSPCC.

St Ethelberts RC Church

In 1922, a new parish developed from SS. Peter and Paul's and Fr. F. Kershaw was the priest sent to foster the growth of the new parish. The new church was opened in 1925. On Fr. Kershaw's transfer to Blackley, Fr. T. McGrath came here from St. Joseph's, Bolton. A new junior and infant school have been built during his pastorate.
